<p>By John Brazel</p><p align="left">Frankfort, KY - The Associated General Contractors of Kentucky, the state&#39;s largest commercial construction association is pleased to announce that David Valentine of AGC of Kentucky Member Gray Construction, Lexington, Kentucky is the recipient of our 2009 Distinguished Service Award.</p><p>&nbsp;&quot;David serves on both the AGC of Kentucky Safety Committee and has been nationally appointed to the AGC of America Safety Committee, though his commitment to the construction industry is not limited to the area of safety. He also serves as one of our representatives on the K4C (Kentucky Construction Career Choice Council) Board of Directors and was an invaluable contributor to the Kentucky Construction Career Day this past year which saw more than 2,000 high school students attending this annual construction education event in Shelbyville, KY.&quot; said AGC of Kentucky Executive Vice President Richard C. Vincent. &quot;On behalf of the entire membership of AGC of Kentucky we are pleased to present David Valentine with the 2009 Distinguished Service Award.&quot;</p><p>The Distinguished Service Award was presented during the association&#39;s 90^th Annual Award ceremony on Friday November 13, 2009 in Louisville, KY.</p><p>For over 20 years, Gray has been a driver for the continual improvement in construction safety. We have consistently been involved with OSHA and industry organizations that look to shape the industry as a safer place of employment.
